- Prepare the digging tools and archeology accessories. It is suggested to lay the table cloth below the gypsum, so to prevent chippings and powders from scattering when digging.
- During digging, add some water to soften the gypsum and reduce dust drifting away.
- Break open the gypsum surface by use of the digging tools.
- There is a small spoon at the tail of the hammer to clear gaps.
