Urban General Store Refund and Return Policy
DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT MERCHANDISE
For items that arrive damaged or defective (or if you receive an incorrect order), please contact our Customer Service Department at firstname.lastname@example.org or 773-275-8600 and we will assist you right away!
Please do not discard any box(es), packaging and packing materials.
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your online purchase from Urban General Store. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will offer you a full refund or exchange in the amount of the original purchase price within 30 days of the original order. No returns or exchanges accepted after 30 days. All “sale” items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. (Please note: this return policy is for orders from Urbangeneralstore.com only. The return policy for items purchased at our retail store, ENJOY, AN URBAN GENERAL STORE can be found below.)
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
We are unable to offer a refund of the original shipping costs. Refunds will be issued to the original credit card used for the order only. Items received as gifts can be exchanged or returned for merchandise credit towards a future purchase at www.urbangeneralstore.com. No cash refunds will be issued.
Gift Cards are not refundable.
To return an item for refund or exchange, please contact our Customer Service Department at email@example.com or 773-275-8600.
We will issue you a Return Authorization Number (R.A.#) and instructions for returning the item(s). Returns or exchanges will not be accepted without a Return Authorization Number (R.A.)
Item(s) should be packed securely in original packaging (or similar). Please return item(s) using an insured carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS Priority Mail). Urban General Store cannot be responsible for returned items that are lost or damaged in transit. Customer is responsible for all return shipping charges. Returns should be sent to: Urban General Store, ATTN: Returns, 5111 N. Lincoln Ave., Chicago, IL 60625.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
Then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be returned and refunded or exchanged.
RETURN POLICY FOR ENJOY, AN URBAN GENERAL STORE
The above policy applies to items purchased online from Urbangeneralstore.com only. Items purchased at ENJOY, AN URBAN GENERAL STORE in Chicago are eligible for return, with sales receipt, within 5 days of purchase and will be fully refunded according to original payment. Returns within 14 days will be refunded as store credit only. All "sale items" are final sale.
FLAT-RATE GROUND DELIVERY
Standard flat-rate shipping (via USPS Priority Mail) averages 3-5 business days for delivery (time in transit may increase during the holidays). We offer flat rate ground shipping in the continental US (free ground shipping for orders over $99). Most items ship next day (Monday - Friday). Please allow additional processing time during the holidays.
Flat rate $3.95 First Class shipping may be available for some lighter items. If so, it will be an option at checkout.
UPS GROUND, 2-DAY, AND OVERNIGHT
Customers may upgrade their shipping to UPS Ground, 2-Day or Overnight. Costs will be calculated and available at checkout.
Orders placed after 5:00pm (CST) Monday-Friday will usually ship out the next business day. Orders placed on the weekend typically ship out the following week.
