ENJOY, AN URBAN GENERAL STORE is thrilled to announce the celebration of its 5th anniversary in the Andersonville neighborhood! To mark this special occasion, we are hosting a festive event featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce followed by a delightful Drag Queen Story Experience presented by M.A.Y.O. (Make Art Your Opportunity) on Sunday, September 8, 2024.

Join us as we commemorate five wonderful years of offering our community unique and thoughtful gifts. The celebration will kick off with an anniversary ribbon-cutting ceremony—postponed in 2019 due to Covid—with the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce at 10:00am.

Following the ribbon-cutting, we are excited to present a Drag Story Expererience, a fun and inclusive event where performers from multidisciplinary arts company M.A.Y.O. will read stories for young people and explore self expression. M.A.Y.O’s family-friendly experiences combine performance, reading and interactive activities where the children are invited to dance, sing, play and work together to create their own stories.
