July 10 is National Pina Colada Day!While we'll take any fruity, rum-filled, frozen beverage in a pinch, a homemade piña colada is just so much better than anything made from a mix.
Here's our favorite recipe.
- 1/2 cup diced pineapple, frozen
- 2 oz. pineapple juice
- 2 oz. Cream of Coconut Coco López
- 1 1/2 oz. white rum
- 1 oz. dark rum
- 1 1/2 cup ice
Blend together until smooth. Garnish with pineapple ring and cherry.
Why not put on your best pineapple socks, invite some friends over, and blend up delicious cocktails?
Bonus points for serving your Piña Colada with a cute straw.
Or draw a bath a take "mental health" day off work, drop a Bath Bomb in the water, and be whisked off to a tropical isle vacation (in your mind).
